More snow

We awoke on Sunday morning to more snow again but just like before, the whole community has pulled together to ensure school has got back to normal relatively quickly. Thanks to all of the boys (and staff) who have helped

GCSE Drama

Nine of the boys from Hall House year 11 were involved in the GCSE Drama assessments and did a superb job in showing off their acting and design skills. Vlad, James and Jude were all involved in, "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time". Vlad played the central role of Christopher and James and Jude provided fantastic lighting and sound designs.  Lewis then performed in the comedy, "Teechers" and Nick and Sabin acted in extracts from "Swallows and Amazons" for which Joe provided a sound design. Sam was in the highly amusing, "Broken Biscuits" before Henry rounded the evening off with a great performances in, "The Dumb Waiter". Well done to all of the boys involved and we hope you get the marks you deserve.

WHAT.A.WEEK!

This has been one of the busiest weeks on record! School and House matches in hockey and football, GCSE Drama assessments, preparation for house entertainment as well as the usual activities and lessons.
On Monday, the year 10 boys won a tightly fought House hockey competitor by beating Middle in a tense round of shuttles after drawing with them following a win against  Upper, The boys came through to win their year group's competition for the second year running.
On Tuesday the year 9 boys followed suit by also drawing with Middle which meant they had to beat Upper by FIVE clear goals....which they did. WELL DONE to both year groups #proudhouse

Goal!

Snow!

Wow, what a week. The snow came in on Thursday and Friday which meant no school for the day boys on Friday and the sort of days that you will remember for ever for the boarders. The whole community pulled together and made sure paths were cleared, food provided and fun had. below are just a few of the photographs that will last in our memories.
