Bath Half 2016 - DONE

Well done to all of the Hall boys who completed in the Bath Half this year.  Some great times for everyone including the staff!!  Once we know the total amount of money raised, it will be posted on here but for now, enjoy looking through the photographs.

Archery

This weekend the sun was shining and several of the boys (along with boarders from other houses) took the opportunity to have a go at some archery.  It looks like the challenge to hit the packet of Haribo sweets was successfully achieved by George!

Valentine's Dinner

On Wednesday 10th February, the Hall House boys hosted the annual Valentine's Dinner.  The amazing food was provided by the fantastic Catering Department and the boys were waiters and entertainers for the evening.  The evening was a great success with over £400 being raised for this year's chosen charity: Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.

Burn's Night Celebrations and Celidh

The boys had a great night this evening celebrating the life of the great Scottish poet Robbie Burns. Although the 25th January is actually the official Burn's night, we were all able to enjoy the traditional meal of haggis, neeps and tatties before we listened to a toast to the lassie, from our Head of House Tom, followed by a response form Prapti from Summerhill.  We then all went over to the sports hall to dance the celidh accompanied by the staff band of Mr Burgeon, Mr Knights and Mr Chua.  Mrs Brown did a superb job explaining each dance and then calling the moves. Great fun had by the whole boarding community!

Congratulations Josh

Huge Congratulations to Josh in year 11 who has just been offered a professional football contract with Bristol Rovers.  This is a superb achievement bearing in mind the huge competition for these contracts.  A just reward for all the hard work that Josh has put in so far. Best of luck in the future Josh as a professional footballer.

Congratulations to Jez being made captain of the first eleven hockey team with Calum as his vice.  Just like last season with the rugby, Hall House has provided the captain and vice captain for the first team.  Well done boys and good luck this season
