Residents walk

A massive thank you to Miss Wright (Head of Boarding) for organising a charity walk today in aid of Help and Homes.  The vast majority of the onsite community turned out (including thirty two staff and boarders from Hall) to enjoy a walk through the fields along part of the Cotswold Way.  The weather was perfect and warm enough for us all to enjoy an ice cream half way around (courtesy of Rev. Hull who met us in the car park of the Blythwaite Arms).  Miss Wright has reported that over £300 was raised which made the walk even more worthwhile.  It was a great way to spend Sunday afternoon.
Aves, Easton and Misha looking forward to setting off.

6th form meal

On Friday evening the year 13 students from Hall and Fonthill went out for a meal at Pizza Express.  It was an opportunity for Mr Harding and Mrs Sergeant to say thank you to the house prefects for all of their help this year - as well as having a pizza!

6th Form Concert

On Friday evening, the school's 6th form musicians put on a fantastic evening's entertainment.  It was great to see Hugo (who recently passed grade 8 with distinction on the drums!!) and Tim playing the Eagles classic, "Hotel California".  A thoroughly enjoyable night.

As promised, photos of the Dodgeball from the end of last term - enjoy!

First barbecue of the year

The sun shone last weekend so we took full advantage and had our first barbecue of the year.  It was great to eat, sit and chat into the evening whilst enjoying a burger and hotdog.  Hopefully there will be many more Hall House barbecues over the following weeks (although it has been chilly today and a bit sleety!!)

Welcome Back

Welcome back to everyone for the final term of the year.  I hope everyone enjoyed seeing their sons during the break.  On the final day of last term the vast majority of the boys participated in the House Cross Country (see the pictures below) following on from House Entertainment with Fonthill on the Thursday evening which was great fun.
This term is sure to be a busy one and we will do our best to keep the blog up to date with plenty of photographs of your sons' activities and achievements. Fingers crossed that the sun will shine.
